Thursdays Trade Plan and Levels

Morning,

Today we will use 95.75-97.75 as our bull bear zone. Above here we have resistance at 15-17 which could see selling even though it has been tested in globex. We would need a setup in real time. Above this we have 25.25-27.25 where we could see selling on first test and above that we have 34-36 which could cap buying today.

On the short side we have 80.25-82.25 which needs to be defended by bulls. If not then ES could liquidate to 67.75-69.75. And then 62.75.
Today i'll be waiting for setups in real time to coincide with good trade location as we could see some two sided action today. Patience will be key, as always.

HAppy Trading.

  1. Hi,

I have recently discovered your blog and I must say you have made great calls. Thank you for sharing your analysis.

It has been almost a year since I started trading and I mainly use price action and elliot wave. I started with trading currencies and now I trade indices as well.

Although I have read books on volume price analysis but the techniques you use are fairly new to me. Could you recommend me some resources to learn the volume profile and auction theory? I am a complete beginner. There are some paid webinars by futurestrader71 and a book 'Mind Over Markets by James Dalton' on volume profile and auction theory. Not sure if these are for beginners. I was wondering if you could point me in the right direction. Cheers

  2. Hey thanks for your feedback. Id suggest you go and read Mind Over Markets and markets in profile, boh by James Dalton. Also read Steidlmayer on markets. FT71 is also great and can teach you alot. But id suggest you read these books first to get a grasp of the how it works and the theory behind it all.

  4. Thanks for the recommendation and I will read these books to get the idea about the concepts. Do you use order flow concepts in your trading or just just volume profile and auction theory?
I will definitely be bugging you with my questions. I hope you don't mind :)

    Thanks
